Which file formats can I upload?
STL, 3MF and OBJ. Each file is analysed in your browser before it is uploaded.
Why do printers need a calibration test?
It proves the machine holds dimensions. A measured 20 mm cube and a 3DBenchy with photos is enough, and it unlocks bidding.
Can I pay through PrintBid3D?
No. Payments and payouts through PrintBid3D are disabled during beta. A protected payment flow may be activated after it has been fully verified.
What happens in a dispute?
Five jurors review the evidence and vote. The majority decides, and that decision is final and binding.
Can I pick the part up locally?
Yes. Printers who offer pickup show an approximate area on the map, and you agree on the handover in the job chat.
Can I have someone print a model I downloaded?
Only if the licence allows it. We read the licence when you import a link and warn you when a model is non-commercial.
Has PrintBid3D had a security review?
We continuously test permissions, file access, accounts, payment flows and common abuse cases. PrintBid3D has not yet undergone an independent security audit. Payments remain disabled during beta while the remaining checks and fixes are completed.
